Any Veritas R8 alarm box users here??

I have such an alarm box inside the house and have only ever used it for when I am out of the house. Now I had decided to use it when I go to bed at night, but am not sure exactly how to set this - even with the instructions.

I have 5 alarm zones, live in a 3 story house with 4 of the zones on the ground floor (hall, dining room, kitchen, utility room (back door)) and the 5th is the landing on the 2nd floor. My bedroom is on the 3rd floor.

I can set FULL or PART - and from the leaflet I have it is PART I want as this sets all the ones on the ground floor.

My question is this, if I set PART, what happens when I come downstairs in the morning? Do I get similar time / beeps as I would if I came in through the front door, or does merry hell break loose?

I know I could set it and try, but it is nearly 10pm and not wanting to set it off by accident now
