Question Using X10 to control mains adaptor/Neons???

I have a set of neon lights which are powered by a small mains adaptor, simialr to this one:

http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?...C=SO&U=strat15

My question is how do I control this using X10? It seems to work two or three times and then stoped. Tried Lighting and appliance modules bit no joy.

Thanks

Piers
