Question JCL FlexiDim lighting control

I've only just found this forum and wish I had found it a while ago as there are some posts I'd have love to have read when I was researching which lighting control system to install.

However fortunately although the information has been interesting it has not changed my mind - I think that the JCL FlexiDim system is the best for me.

Does anyone here have experience of this system?

Re: JCL FlexiDim lighting control

Have recently set up a system in a property in Scotland - whole house was being re-wired anyway and I needed to be able to control it remotely and also simulate activity

System was easy to wire in (mains and low voltage comms all star-wired back to central location) and fairly easy to set up. Loads of options for additional kit such as blind controllers, LED control, fluorescent 0-10V modules etc.

JCL are extremely helpful with questions and always prompt to reply.

I am not connected to the Company nor act as agent for their systems.

As regards cost, they usually supply via installers in the UK - not sure if available direct to the public - best to contact them direct.

Re: JCL FlexiDim lighting control

I know of another JCL install it seemed to cost similar amounts to Rako RAK4 modules (with the ancillaries added in) JCL are one of the smaller players and wiring for the lights is the same as Helvar/Mode/iLight etc not sure on keypad wiring systems or options. one thing is that there is less 3rd party support they publish the RS232 codes but lack the prewritten drivers for Pronto, netstreams etc ther eare Crstron and AMX drivers IIRC
