Re: Luxaflex remote control blinds any good?

Luxaflex make all sorts of blinds, venetian, vertical, sunshade, and they can all be motorized, so yes they do have motors, depending on the size of the system depends how discrete they are. The venetians are hidden in the headtrack. They can open or close the blinds or tilt them.
Basically you can get them to do what you want, and before you ask they aren't cheap but they are very good.

Luxaflex

Luxaflex have always used Somfy motors and they work very well. I have heard they are introducing their own motor range in soon (if not already). The motors are very small and cannot be seen.

Control is IR and simple to use. You will need it set up by the installer though.

You will need to have power to each blind, but a good electrician will be able to help you out.

I am in Queensland Australia and used one of their recommended distributors (Shy Blinds - Shy Blinds - Servicing Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and wider Queensland). Excellent product knowledge and they were able to provide the right advice (I had a tricky multi blind integration with my CBUS). If you are in in Brisbane / Sunshine Coast area then give them a call.

If you are overseas then I assume they also have an authorised dealer. You may be able to call them direct yourself, but I found the resellers are a lot easier plus you can have a face to face chat.
