need some advice. home automation to be controlled via MCE only.

ok, start of, i have been reading but am still very confused.
background. I stay in singapore, everything is 240v

I'm thinking of having some minimal form of home automation via windows media center. dont want extra remotes, everything to be control only by means of MCE.

things i would like to control.
1) lighting (on/off) only. no dimming. (ceiling light, table lamps and maybe ceiling fan?)
2) aircon if possible.
3) some other electrical appliances (on/off) only

everything is almost within the room itself. I've got vista MCE/ultimate up and running perfectly.

question is what do i need to get?
