CCTV connection question with pics

Hello,

This seems like a wonderful forum, plenty of intelligent people to share knowledge with the unknowing, like me.

I have just purchased a used CCTV monitor and a new camera for surveillance. I want to do this project on the cheap.

It's (hopefully) just a simple surveillance camera set up for the area outside our front door. The camera info says it can be used to transmit the video wired or wireless. We shall see.

Anyway, the monitor has BNC(?) connections and the camera has RCA connections.

What adapters will i need to hook them up? The pics are below.

Thank you,

Mike

Re: CCTV connection question with pics

Yep it’s as simple as ajm007 has said, the RCA/BNC adapter simply changes the termination of the connector; the signal remains composite.
