Re: Morpheus light

Hi guys,

I've got one of these, sat in the corner of my lounge. I rather like it. It's not in direct line of sight, but sort of to one side and behind a bit. The unit is out of sight behind a sofa. I'd say it's around the size of a shoebox.

The light output isn't massive - when the wall lights are on, the effect is lost really. However, when we watch something on tv we like to have the lights off, and the Morpheus gives a nice ambient background, much better than sitting in the pitch black. I'd say it would be fine behind a tv, in an ambilight sort of way, but not if you have other lights on - you'd be wasting your time IMHO.

You can have it scrolling through different colours, or fix it on one - there are 3 LEDs in it of different colours.

If you were thinking of say a dining room, then it would be nice with candlelight, but again, not a bright centre light. Maybe Morpheus in one corner and a small lamp in an opposite one.

Hope that helps,
MarkP
