Question ChannelPlus From America

Hi all

If anyone is familiar in any way with the ChannelPlus 3025, I was wondering if they could answer a question. In the UK they cost about 220 - 250 pounds, whereas in the USA they cost about 90 US dollars, approx 50 UK pounds, which is one mighty saving. Does anyone know:

1. Can these work off an electrical transformer, to convert the 110 volts to 240 volts, and

2. Will the USA TV system mean that the UK version differs in terms of signal processing?

I've managed to find one supplier that will ship from the US as well, so I'm hoping that it works!

Thanks.

Hi,

You will need to replace the transfomer because the one listed is 110v at 60hz you will need to get a UK transfomer with a output of 15v dc rated at 300ma which should be readily available.
Also having looked at the info you gave you would need to spec the PAL version for it to work over here in the uk http://www.channelplus.com/product_d...?productId=107
