dead futronixs light switch 100 ohm resister?

dead futronixs light switch 100 ohm resister?

after taking the switch apart,a 100 ohm resister had a big hole in the side and read open,does any body no if its a fusable resister,and what wattage it looks quite big 1 or 2 watt. can you get circuit diagrams for the p100 ? futronixs haven,t repled to my e mail?

I would change the resistor. I think this is a "ballast" in series with the light circuits to absorb the surge when you switch on a cold filament lamp.

Replace it - its not expensive and if it blows again - well you might be looking at the triacs.

BTY I have P400 and so far I have just replaced fuses when a lamp goes- touch wood.
