X10 for lighting control using IR

Hi,

I am looking for a recessed X10 device that goes into the false ceiling of my compact florescent living room lights. However I want to use my MX600 IR remote control to control the lighting instead of the RF remotes. I know that there is a IR543 but I live in Singapore which is 240volts so cannot use the US models.

Would appreciate if someone who knows X10 can tell me what devices (models =p) and where I could order it to ensure that it is a 240volts model.

Thanks
Oliver

The IR7243 series are the 240V equivalent of the IR543.

You will probably have to use appliance modules rather than lighting modules to control your fluorescent lamps. On/Off only, they won't dim.

Check out www.letsautomate.com for info.
