Led's

Hello

Yesterday i bought 10 leds on ebay. I'd like to use them as ambient lighting in the floor. The leds i bought are 18000mcd ones. I wondered if that is too much just for some abient lighting? Does somebody have experience with that?

Thanks

R

Hi

18000mcd is quite bright but you can limit the current with a larger value series resistor which will dim them down if too bright. This presumes you purchased individual LED's and not a fixed voltage ready made unit.
