anyone can enlighten me on this?

can anyone enlighten me on 'A', 'B' and 'C' wire connectors, whether is it live, earth or neutral?

B is live, A is neutral. C goes to one side of the lamp, another neutral wire goes to the other side of the lamp.

If there is no earth connection on the device, then just earth the metal box in the wall.

Usually you have a metal back box that you screw the face plate onto - these have an earthing connector.

What is the device ? If it's a light switch remember that UK homes don't usually have a neutral connection at the light switch.

With all due respect you may want to have an electrician have a look at it if you're not sure.
