Re: IR dimmer with presets

hey dreaddan,

I currently used an ISY 99/pro IR with some insteon switches. Then I hooked up a Logitech 890 RF remote with it. On the ISY you can stick the IR transmitter from the RF modal and then after that its programming on your computer which was actually fairly easy. Our customers place has 15 lights, a fire place that I connected to an insteon relay, 1 motorized projector screen and 2 water fountains. We also installed a 6 scene wall switch (kind of like your preset question) and all of them I can now control with the logitceh as well. Really sweet system once it was all done. You can find all this stuff at smarthome.com, once we are completed this job Im going to shoot a video and post it up on our website for all to check out.

Jason

Re: IR dimmer with presets

I think some x10 modules can remember last setting and also its posible with x10 IRRF7243 receiver and CM11/ CM15 PC interface and a Lamp module. You can create a macro to dim a light to an absolute level or a relative level. ie 20% darker of current setting or 20% of max.
