Unhappy GET Wireless Lighting System

Had this installed throughout house around 18 months ago but receivers keep failing. Obtained replacements from GET but problem keeps recurring. Receivers work OK for a few months but then lights cannot be turned off (or dimmed). Had electrician back 3 times now. He's tried repacing some of the transformers (as well as the receivers) but even some of the replaced circuits are playing up again now. It's all becoming a bit of a nightmare ! Has anyone else here experienced similar or can anyone provide some advice please ?

Re: GET Wireless Lighting System

sorry to hear about the troubles. Have you thought about HomeEasy? They are available at B&Q and i think around the same price as GET.

There are some website links here:

Very Cheap: BUYdiy.net

buyhomeeasy.co.uk
wirelesshomes.co.uk

I just bought the homeeasy bayonet and switch as just after having the whole house rewired and flooring laid we suddenly realised we didn't like the side the door to the lounge opened

Will let you know how it gets on. Just a note you can not use energy saving bulbs with most of these wireless light systems. Some of the X10s you can but that just seemed more of a faff than the home easy solution. I'll just have to up my carbon footprint for that one room.

Will let you know how I get on.
