I have a ceiling light that uses c.10 G4 halogen bulbs. I also have two wall lights that each use 3 G4 halogen bulbs.

I really want to switch my switch (!) to a dimmer.

what wattage are bulbs (thats the critical thing when chossing a dimmer) Also the 240V-12V transformers must be compatible with the dimmer.

The bulbs are 12V 10W each.

wattage wont be an issue need to make transformer in fittings is dimmable

most 50W electronic transformers don't like dimming 20W lamps, so be careful with 10W.

If you buy a good quality transformer such as a Mode Lighting ET-C Transformer, you should be fine as these are specified down to 20W. these are the best i have found, and the most quiet. I imagine the 3 x Wall lights are on 1 circuit making the load 30W?

The Ceiling light would require a 100W rated transformer if what you are saying is that there are 10 x 10W bulbs.
