SAFE!
These lights are CCFL (cold cathode) which means no matter how long you leave them running they are cold unlike normal light bulbs. Leave it on for an hour and grab hold of the tube to find it as cold as the moment you took it out of the box. This means you can put them places other lights just cant go. The light tubes are splash proof so can operate in a damp environment (plz note that the inverters are not splash proof).

CHOOSE YOUR OWN COLOURS!
Choose your own colours from the list below.

Hi,

I am in the process of chaning the cable/switch that is used in this kit which is why they are currently not available.

I have finalised a design with a company and they should be back in stock within 2 weeks.

The design is a better quality cable than the previous ones, so should be worth the wait.

If you wish, you can still order the kit, on the understanding that the cable is out of stock. I can send you everything else, and send you the cable once it is in stock.

the FULL hom kits are now back in stock.

The design of the cable has changed to make them easier to install and conceal (thinner cable).

The power connectors are now a higher quality too.

Unfortunatly, not in series.

However you can hook them up in parallel using a Y Splitter cable to the inverters.

These cables are custom made, to suit the dimensions you have to work with. Currently working on a design for a 1.8m x 2.1m wall design.

If you would like any more info, please feel free to ask

I'd be very interested in a design to suit my needs.

The actual screen size is 193.8cm * 116.3cm, in order not to see the bulbs (and just have a nice glow), I'd need to mount them say 20cm from inside each outer edge.

That would make the lighting area 154*76 cm. To round it, it looks like I'd need 2 bulbs for each side, and 5 for each length. Would that be too bright?

How many kits/Y splitters would I need?

Thanks

That would make the lighting area 154*76 cm. To round it, it looks like I'd need 2 bulbs for each side, and 5 for each length. Would that be too bright?

How many kits/Y splitters would I need?

Thanks
Hi,

I would recomend that you put 1 12" tube at each side (left / right) and 3 tubes across the top/bottom.

You may be able to reduce the number of tubes required if you could place the tubes central.

Using the method i mentioned above, you would use 8 12" Tubes, and 4 Inverters.

It should provide plenty light. You may even be able to reduce the tubes across the top/bottm to 2 tubes, however i cant guarentee how this would look.

8 tubes *SHOULD* be able to be powered from 1 socket, using 1 custom made splitter cable. However, i will need to check the power requirements in more detail before i can confirm if 8 tubes will be fine from a single adapter.

The tubes are about 8mm, but the blocks on the ends are about 10mm (1cm)

so for mounting, you need at least 1cm of space
