Zanussi Built in Electric Oven Help

Hi guys, bit of a long shot I know but our built in electric oven (fan assisted) has stopped heating up. I'm unsure of the specific model as it doesn't seem to say but I will try and find out!

I didn't know if there is something in electric ovens that can need replacing over time. I unscrewed the back of it and the fan spins but it looks as though the element isn't heating up, I know nothing about ovens so was hoping for a bit of advice before having to call someone out I don't want to mess about even further in case I make the problem worse!

We do have a top oven which is still working but it is a bit of a pain as it a bit smaller than the larger main oven.

Any help/websites to visit appreciated

Re: Zanussi Built in Electric Oven Help

The elements go, easy to replace, once unscrewed remove wires, on mine spade connectors. Took me 10 mins plus £30 for element.
Last time it went engineer charged £100. Please switch off at mains before attempting.

Thanks mate, may as well have a go myself then, if it was easy why did you get an engineer in next time?

I will turn it off at the mains, no worries

Anywhere other than ebay you would suggest looking for a new element?

Re: Zanussi Built in Electric Oven Help

Got my element from ebay for £11 delivered for my Electrolux which is the same as a Zanussi.

As stated... three screws and can be done from inside the oven.
