fridge doesn't work in fridge freezer

Hi guys, I have a electrolux fridge freezer where the freezer works fine but the fridge itself doesn't work.

is there anyone who is experience in this sort of line of work know whats wrong with it?

How much does it cost to repair it? am i better off buying a new one?

if it's under a year old tell the shop you bought it from.... it's probably the thermostat, it may have one for fridge and one for freezer compartment.......mine recently went and the fridge and frezeer was fubar....it was the stat and it cost more for comet to get the stat than to supply a new fridge/freezer!!.... it was under a year old and they gave my money back and I bought a new one.HTH

its about 6 years old. looks like im better off buying a new one?

If it only has one thermostat and cooling circuit for both the fridge and the freezer, sometimes the freezer doesn't need to run but the fridge does but they share the same cooling circuit and if the freezer wins and keeps the cooling circuit off the fridge warms up.
