You will need to delete this and put an advert in the Non-AV Classifieds . A Mod will be along shortly to do it for you if you prefer.

Re: WANTED - Fridge Freezer (American Style)

In all honesty mate, you are really not going to find a good one at that price - you're pretty much restricted to Samsung and the like, and having had a Samsung (and having sold them professionally) I can say I would never have one again - just too unreliable. For the kind of budget you've got, I'd suggest you look for a European traditional one instead, and going for something decent like a Bosch, or a Miele if you want to stretch a little bit.

Re: WANTED - Fridge Freezer (American Style)

Personally we had a Silver Samsung American Side by Side - plumbed in with water + ice machine and it was fantastic. No problem at all. Had to sell it to my sister when we were moving to a smaller house but that fell through and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one if I had the cash

Dont want to put you off but they are crap.
I have had two and one was really crap. They are actually quite small and crap in their design.

When we buy mean from the butcher ( they come in bags and not packs) its hard to store them in thebloody thing. Please consider the 6ft tall fridge freezers Mille hotpoint etc they are good. I now have a chest freezer for my frozen ( 1x hotpoint yanky style side by side and 1x upright 6ft fridge freezer) if i could turn back the clock i would buy another 6ft fridge freezer).

The Hotpoint side by side is very good in terms of use. It makes ice gives cold water but storage is really crap due to its design and ice compartment design.
