hi,

I have just got my new whirlpool side by side home and after leaving it to stand for the stated 24hours, i plugged it in and fired it up. the appliance came to life with the internal lights illuminating. unfortunately, the display on the front does not light up and is blank!

I took the facia off and checked the voltage to the multi-plug behind the screen and it had 230v at the brown cable.

Any ideas please.
