Bosch HLN658250B connection advice

My old free-standing cooker is finally dying and needs replacement.

One of the contenders, in fact the favourite is the Bosch HLN658250B

I note however the maximum connected load is 10.5kw

Before I part with my hard earned cash I just wish to confirm my wiring is man enough. This isn't asked to avoid paying an electrician to do work as this is in a newly fitted kitchen and if the wiring isn't man enough I shall just have to find a cooker without the pyrolytic cleaning with a lower total connected load.

Anyway, back to subject. Currently my cooker connects via it's isolation switch with a 6mm cable over a 5 meter run (3.5m roofspace - 1.5m conduit in solid wall) connected to a 30amp fuse in my old fashioned fuse box. And the kitchen is on the ground floor, in fact a bungalow, if that makes any difference to the regs

Any thoughts appreciated.

Re: Bosch HLN658250B connection advice

I'm no electrician, but we recently bought a Siemens version that is similar (as part of a whole kitchen refurb), ie it has Pyrolytic cleaning, we were informed before doing so by one of the companies that quoted for doing the refurb, that if we had an older style fuse box, which didn't feature trip switches, that the feed to the cooker would not be good enough, and would blow the fuse, but this would only happen when we used the cleaning function, as this heats the oven up to in excess of 500c to burn off the dirt to dust!
We do have a new fuse box and all has been fine.
Can't recommend the pyrolytic cleaning enough though, none of this getting down on hands and knees scrubbing for me any more, flick the switch wait for it to do its thing then cool, and used a dustpan to sweep out the dust, fantastic! Cooks pretty well too.
