SoGa question

Hi,
This is totally unrelated to Richer Sounds Price match, but see that there is reference to SoGa and wonder if you could give some advice. I am trying to get Comet to fix my Fridge Freezer using SoGa but they have returned stating that as it is not a major component they do not have to repair. The part that is gone wrong is the timer, which controls the machine to freeze and defrost, as it is not freezing i feel this is a major component, however, Comet see different.

Any advice

How old is the Fridge Freezer ?

Tyler, the fridge Freezer was puchased in September 2007, I did not take out the stores extended warranty. Any help appreciated.

So bloody what. You bought a fridge freezer and it was a FROST FREE fridge freezer you bought it in good faith. 2 years is not a good enought or long enought time for a fridge freezer. Stick to your guns like i did and they will REPLACE IT. stuff getting it fixed.

Grab a coffee and read this Fridge freezer 3 months out of guarantee issues

An item must last as long as reasonable to expect it to last.

A fridge timer? most porbabaly as long as the fridge will last unless there is misuse or failure to conform to manufacturer's instructions. It's not a minor part since it plays an important role in the proper functioning of the fridge freezer.

Contact your local CAB if necessary but before that, try all th epossibilities with Comet Customer Services.
