Tumble dryer recommendation please.

Can anyone recommend a good tumble dryer with a large drum upto £350 max. Cheaper would obviously be better. I don't need moisture sensors or anything fancy. Efficiency, reliability and longevity is all I'm after.

Thanks

Re: Tumble dryer recommendation please.

We have a Hoover Six Condensing dryer and it is wonderful. It also does not cost the earth and it is excellent on power usage.

In my opinion you do. It doesn't cost much more and saves huge amounts of electricity.

Start with the Comet website. There's not a lot to go wrong with a dryer. We've had several over the years and they all lasted ages.

For some reason Creda have the best reputation, but all the basic makes are good: Hotpoint, Indesit, Candy, Hoover, etc.

I don't think there's any reason to go for the expensive European makes like Bosch, Neff or Miele.
