If it looks like this then it screws off
It may be tight

If it's just glass you can see it'll screw off, just turn it to the left firmly but carefully.....

Use a tea towel if you're nervous about it breaking. But the glass cover does screw off as has been alluded to. You'll be surprised by how much force you have to use to unscrew it, but it deffo unscrews.

Re: Candy built in oven, bulb replacement.

Is this the cover?...

Currys partmaster.co.uk - Candy Lampholder glass

...hard to tell from the enlarged pic, but looks like it screws in (normal direction, righty tighty - lefty loosey).

Re: Candy built in oven, bulb replacement.

finaly managed to get the cover off,and i have to admit it did unscrew but there is no way you could of done it with your hands as (1)it was far too tight to turn.(2)you couldnt get your hand round it to grip the cover properly because its situated between the grill heating elements,so in the end i used a pair of slip joint pliers to carefully turn it.
i wouldnt of minded the blown bulb but the cooker is only 4 weeks old, candy offered to come and replace the bulb for me but a day off work was out of the question.
