It's fairly easy if you just want to hook up your Pace box and a Sky Digibox from the one satellite cable I bought a F-Type to F type Satellite Receiver Cable 1.5M Lead so I use the dish out connection on the pace to the dish input connection on the Sky Digibox. Not sure how it would work on sky+ though.

Any re-assurances/tips from someone who already has the 't-shirt' on what to do when you get to the Reception Screen and Network Scan sections of the 'Setting Up Your Set-Top Box' page of the instructions. e.g. I have no idea which satellite my Sky+ mini dish is pointing to or whether its vertical or horizontal polarisation!

Thanks in anticipation folks.

Re: BBC HD For 100 Quid

Just to clarify, I have an old Sky dish connected to the front of my house if I connected this box to it, would I be able to receive channels? What about those foreign channels which show Premiership footy on a saturday, will this be acheivable? If so call me 'tempted'. TIA for any clarifiction.

During the installation the only thing I can recall having to change was change it to "Astra 2" satellite instead of the default of "Astra 1" before you start doing the scan for channels. I only did the quick scan option I didn't have to mess about with vertical or horizontal or anything like that it was very straight forward from my end.

The only real selling point I'd say with this box is that it enables you to watch the "BBC HD" channel. From what I've read to pickup the premiership channel you are looking at getting a different decoder specifically for this and they recommend a 1M size dish. Your looking at about £400 to buy the kit plus whatever it costs in installation. There are other threads on the forum dedicated to solving this problem.

Thanks for that Dazza it was just as you said and I am well pleased with the result! Lets hope more programmes become available and that the BBC advertises whats on offer as, reading 'The Radio Times' is hard work, with no seperate HD Channel listing is given.

Pleased it's worked out for you. Looking forward to watching Planet Earth again tonight. I goto www.bbc.co.uk/hd you can get a weeks worth of listings for the BBC HD channel from their. Must admit a pain that no seperate listing in the "Radio Times".

Re: BBC HD For 100 Quid

Agreed, there should be a separate listing for HD in the Radio Times even if it just a trial. There is space available if they removed one of the two listings for Film 4.

I wouldn't mind but the "EPG" on the pace box I find useless very hard to see until an hour before what is going to be on the HD channel in the grand scheme of things a minor complaint thought. Comfortably made it worth the £100 given what I've seen to date on it I believe they'll be showing the OPEN in HD the beeb as well, something else to look forward to.

Re: BBC HD For 100 Quid

Er - you can get the BBC HD channel listing on radio times. I've been using it for months

(EDIT - That's the online version of RT)

Also something to watch out for those of you who have inherited dishes from previous occupants - if the installation is old enough it may be an analogue LNB on there! All you need to do then is swap that out for a new digital one (a few tenners), hook up the receiver and off you go!
