Nvidia Full Screen Video Problem On 32" TV When Playing HD Content
Hi all.
I have a PC with an Nvidia 6800 Ultra AGP with dual DVI out connected to my new LG 32LC2DB 32" HDTV via a 10 metre long VGA cable and DVI to VGA adapter on the PC.
I also have a standard 17" TFT connected via the same method.
The TFT is set to 1280x1024 @ 75hz. The TV is set to 1360x768 @ 60hz in dualview mode.
The picture quality is fantastic on both.
The problem is that if I set the Nvidia Full Screen Video option for the TV it will play most movies fine, but not HD movies.
E.G it will play all my standard mpegs etc.. no worries, if I try to play a video downloaded from the Microsoft WMV HD showcase it just says "no signal" on the TV.
If I turn off full screen video mode and just drag the HD WMV onto the TV and maximise it, it plays just fine and looks great too.
I have tried new graphics drivers (with a clean install using drivercleaner). I have removed all my video codecs and re installed clean ones. I have tried every single media player I can find. Nothing seems to fix this.
I have also done a factor reset on the TV and tried every setting there is.
DVD's play fine if I manually drag the window over to the TV and maximise it.
I can live with this but I would love to have HD content auto play in full screen on my TV.
Any ideas?
