Looking for my first LCD for gaming mainly.

I've come into a little unexpected money so I'm looking to spend some of it and buy a decent LCD TV.

Currently I have a pj for watching movies and gaming and have thought recently about upgrading the PJ to an HD model but I think I'd like to do some casual gaming/TV watching with the curtains open and not be in the dark all the time

I have an xbox360 with the HD-DVD drive on pre-order, an HDTV TVDrive for Telewest and a Snazzio HD DVD player which are my main media sources, I also have an SD Wii on pre-order. So ideally I need something that can accommodate all these sources and in High Def format where necessary.

I'm not bothered at all about onboard sound/speakers as I have a decent 6.1 setup and so these would be redundant.

So the bottom line is that I'm looking for an LCD/plasma? display that can reproduce High Def signals, maybe even 1080p if possible which has to be a minimum of 42" although the bigger the better (46/50/52 preferred) as I'm used to a PJ.

My budget is about £2000 but there is room here either way. I'd be looking to buy some time next week so any special offers ending soon are fine.

Thanks for the help guys, theres just so much choice!
