Question Goodmans GTVL26W8HD

Hi, just after a little advice.

I am running Windows Vista RTM and have decided to go for a new monitor as I have replaced most of my other hardware recently.

I want something quite big and fairly future-proof. As most monitors 20+ are around the £200-300 mark I thought I might go for something HD Ready.

Tesco are doing the Goodmans GTVL26W8HD for £329

Has anyone got one of these? Know anything about them?

Ideally I would be using it for general PC use, including office work, Media Centre, browsing, gaming etc. from around 2-3 foot away.

My graphics card supports HD mode but is this gonna be readable or kill my eyes?
