Sammy Models - To Upgrade or Not

Anyone have any experience comparing the HLP6163W Samsung DLP set with the latest models like the HLS6187W? I'm trying to decide if there is a compelling reason to upgrade. I know the newest models support 1080p and have much greater contrast as well as multiple color wheels but I'm not sure if that really translates into a noticeably better picture. Any feedback would be appreciated....
