Smile Problem with Mitsubishi HS-HD1100U
Hello all, I have an AVID 4.5.1 express studio and need to find a way to integrate a Mitsubishi HS-HD1100U D-VHS Recorder that I bought. According to the AVID program the device doesn't exist even when it is hooked up through a firewire. I heard their was a codec or drivers that might fix this problem. Can anyone help me?

Unless you can output a 720p/1080i 60Hz MPEG2-TS (transport stream) from the Avid over firewire then I guess it won't work.

If you can transcode your edited footage into that format you could use DVHSTool (on a PC) or VirtualDVHS (from Firewire SDK 20 for Mac) to transfer to the DVHS deck over firewire.
