Swisscenter help

I have installed the above and I'm having a problem with the config. I can create media locations and they seem to be accepted but when I create the database I get the error that no locations have been created. When I go back to the locations page, sure enough the locations I created are no longer there

Re: Swisscenter help

Did you finally get swisscenter working?

I initially had the same problem, but after restarting my PC and launching the configuration utility this page loaded. This didn't happen before so I guess it needed a reboot to start the database, though this seems strange.

Re: Swisscenter help

I think I'll give up on this. I have had no success with setting media locations to either a networked drive or a NAS no matter what I tried. I tried a folder on the local drive and that seemed to work. I got the page you show and a couple of of test files did show up on the TV, once. They promptly disappeared again and since then I've got no where with it.

Re: Swisscenter help

Have you checked the log file in the simese\data\log folder? It lists all the files added to the database.

You have updated the media database? You have to do this every time you add media, unless you've changed the settings to update at regular intervals.
