Exclamation .TS Files, Need Help

Just aquired Some HDTV files ( in the form of .ts )
Now when i play them on VLC player, they play fine but i cant hear any sound,
Could it be a codec problem, My sound card is working fine.
Or is it something else.

Cheers

Try rename them to .mpg and just play them in Windows Media Player. The problem in VLC could be the way you've got it set up. For example do you have an SPDIF output on your PC and have you set VLC to output over that?
