sp50 stand

i am probably the last person to know this but if like me you bought a samsung sp50 without the stand, well dixons/curry's are now selling them seperately for £400.

if anyone knows any cheaper retailers please let me know

You should have got the stand free with your sp50. I did and so did a lot of other people. If I were you I would go back to where you bought your tv and ask for one

I think the stand for £400 is not the one you get for free. I remember i saw a picture some time ago,perhaps from the samsung US website a huge glass stand with maybe 2 shelfs on either side and it went around the front. I know not a very good description but I see if I can find a link. When I saw it I wanted it for mine.

I've just found it! the problem is their model numbers are different from the british models. The DLP TV numbers for the 50" and 56" are 5087 and 5688. Here is the link for the stand, I hope it works.

Using one of the links the store The Good Guys were selling it for about $500, so £400 seems right compared to £400 for the 2 small bits of glass you should get for free.
