Pioneer PDP 435 FDETE or LG RZ422py10x

Hi all

I have been looking now for 2/3 weeks for Plasma TV and been
to all the retailers asked questions been confused changed my
mind a few times but now think i have narrowed it down to two
TV's Pioneer PDP 435 FDETE or LG RZ422py10x the price of the
Pioneer is about another £300 it will fit in where my 36" Sony is at the
moment so the 42" v 43" does not matter ............

What are your thoughts on the best one does anyone have one
of these how is it doing at the moment any been back for repair ?

How old are these models do you think the price will come down
could wait from now to Xmas to see what happens........

I think I will go for the 5 years warranty at John Lewis
but if I take I year perhaps save £500 from Internet shop

Hi again

Bit the bullet walked into John Lewis again to-day and talked to sale
staff and found they were discounting their demosrators they had two
PDP 435 FDETE on display and one was sold had a ticket on it for £1900
that includes the speakers and table top stand 5 years Warranty
quickly asked if the other was for sale as well which they said yes
BTW they had no labels on saying they were selling them just a ticket
saying they sold the other to a mr .......... for £1900 ......

I did the deal right away now very pleased......... for all accounts
the new one just have a few more connections on them free channels etc
same screen and will be £2800 approx
