NAD C320BEE - replace jumpers?

The NAD C320BEE has jumpers between the pre out and in on the back of the amp.

Has anyone replaced them? Do you think replacing them with a £20 cable, say the QED Quenex 3, would make it sound better?

Thanks

Personally I would say you would be wasting money. The jumpers would give you a VERY short link and the shorter the better. What is it you are trying to improve, what is fundementally wrong at the moment. What speakers are you driving, others may be able to give good advice as to any short falls you have.

Not so much that something is wrong, just better cables revel more detail, thats all.

Re: NAD C320BEE - replace jumpers?

Definitely makes a difference
I replaced mine with 0.5mtr qed qunex2 and sat for a while trying the jumpers then the cable to hear the difference. Definite improvement cleaner more detailed sound in my opinion. I tried the short interconnects available on ebay 1st the Gotham GAC1's thinking the short signal path was a good idea before trying the qed, but the qed is definitely better sounding in my opinion even though its longer. Hope that helps

Re: NAD C320BEE - replace jumpers?

Hi timearp,
Please post back about your result as I have two 355 BEE. When I brought them the guy in the shop recommended that I should do just that.
It would have cost around 100€
I just could not believe that Nad would skim on this if it was such a big difference as he implied.
regards
Chrisus
