System Audio SA1550

Has anybody ever heard about / listen to SA 1550 speakers. I may have the opportunity of buying a second hand pair for around 350 and would just like to know peoples' opinions before I arrange an appointment to listen to them.

Thanks

Re: System Audio SA1550

I own as pair of these and I have to say they are phenomenal. at 350 they sound like a great deal.

I am in Canada and here they retail for over $2000. I got mine at about 1/3 of that and haven't regretted that one bit. Excellent midrange, voices crisp and clear. Perhaps a little lacking in the lower end. Beautiful cabinets as well, I have mine in maple.
