Denon DM37 DAB - Tuner & iPod Query

I'm looking to replace my rather cumbersome old seperates unit with a decent mini-system (and yes, I know it won't sound as good). I'm planning to re-use my Mission 760SEs, so I want a bare unit, and right now the Denon DM37 DAB looks like the sweet spot at £229 from various outlets.

As the Denon site is pretty hopeless for info, there are a few things the AV Forumites may be able to help me with before I take the plunge:

1) Will I need an external DAB aerial for this unit, or will it come with some dangly/mini-version that will do the trick?
2) What exactly is the functionality provided by attaching the Denon ASD-1R iPod dock? Does it just let me use the DM37 remote to change tracks, or does it also send trackname data to the DM37's LCD screen and let you navigate the pod? I know video functionality is broken on the iPod Classic/Touch/iPhone etc, but do the control/text functions still work? Frankly for £70, I'd expect it to make the tea .
