Exclamation on9mart FU13 amp and criminal behavior warning

Hi all, I got a lot of great info from here and thought I would share some of my direct experience with the Hong Kong "hi end" audio separates. I purchased a FU13 (uses the 813 power tubes which, if not chineese hack versions, are brilliant) from on9mart (ebay purchase) With shipping the toatl was over 600, around 300 for each.
I recieved the unit in the appropriate amount of time, but it was shipped in a single bax with news paper as packing material. Mind you this is a 60 lb unit that need the packing of double boxes and real support (newspaper????).
So i get the unit and it is aesthtically a mess, but works. For a while. So while i am discussing how to rectify the aesthically unacceptable uynit they offered me $70 usd to fix it (replace a whole custome case and redo all the electronics in the new box for $70???? what!

Then the unit starts to go on and off and then, nothing ever again. Check everything and the insides PP wiring got smashed and the whole thing short circuited. Real safe! So, at this point i tell them that the unit is an ugly damaged papaer weight as it not only looks like garbage, but has no working potential. Last I ever heard from them. I have repeatedly tried to get in contact and to no avail. Paypal and ebay are not of any realy held or protection so to all, byer beware.
Maybe you get lucky and the generally caring international and statewide shippers take loving care of your heavy, poorly packaged box and delier it with no issues.... But if they do, dont expect much.

Re: on9mart FU13 amp and criminal behavior warning

Perhaps worth posting a few pictures of the unit and packing as a warning.
