Harman Kardon AVR 247 + KEF ht3000 - good choice?

I need a little advice here. I'm looking to buy a home theater system and i decided to buy this pieces. But first i want to ask a second opinion regarding my choice since is the first time i will spend those money one a entertainment system.
To complete it i will buy a 50' plasma , i allready bought an PopcorHour A100 for movies.... and that's all i considered for now.
