Question Which one to go with?

Hello All,

Here is the scenario. I am building my second system for the Living Room. I have recently purchased a pair of Epos M5s. I am using an Arcam CD82T player and will also have my iPod hooked up.

I have been auditioning the following equipment

NAD 7225PE
Atoll IN80
Audio Refinement Complete
Sugden Audition-T

From those I picked the NAD. Better balanced sound with a nice punch. The second choice was the Sugden but with a lack of information and reviews it is almost as though no one has ever heard of it.

I found a used Onix OA21s at a local dealer and am going to be going and auditioning it. There is also a Cambridge Audio 540av1 that I have a line on that I could get for a good price.

Anyone have any suggestions from these picks, mainly looking at the NAD, ONIC and Cambridge.

Thanks

Dave

Re: Which one to go with?

the lack of information and reviews should be no hindrance to trying out the Sugden but I'm assuming that you've tried the preferred NAD with the other gear. If not, that's your next move. Only you can decide how the system sounds with your ears and in your room. If the amps are uniformally priced differences are going to be subtle and personal to your expectations. No one else can do that or decide for you Except perhaps your partner

Absolutely spot on.
If you ask here, all you'll get are people telling you to buy what they themselves have. Everyone has their own personal preferences and that's why they bought the kit they did.
Buy what you like and ignore the rest, including the reviews.
