Cambridge Audio - What are the main differences between these pieces of equipment?

Hi,

I'm thinking about buying a new CD player and amplifier to pair with some mordaunt short 902i speakers.

I'm interested in knowing whether it is worth spending extra money on the newer units or whether I would even notice any differences.

The choices are

CD Player - Cambridge Audio Azur 540A or 640A v2?

Amplifier - Cambridge Audio Azur 540c v2 or 640c v2?

Thanks

Differences are that the v2 amps have more power, new heatsink and there is no space for an internal phono stage as they have provision for the Incognito multiroom instead.
The 640Cv2 uses 2 Wolfson WM8740's in dual differential mode rather than just the one in the 540Cv2. Its filtering arrangements are different as well.
