Pre amp recommendations?

Hi Guys, i'm looking for a nice sounding pre amp. I had earlier opt for Sugden Headmaster and Cyrus Pre Xvs but both wasn't any stock at the moment. I'm so desperate right now, any recommendations? Thanks.

Quite a jump from the sugden to the cyrus!!!
At the same price as the sugden (i think) is the preamp im using which is one of the new line of audiolabs. 8000Q and costs £600. Its not as "lifestyle" as either of the two you were looking at but its very good value as its essentially just a rebranded TAG pre and has such has had no R&D costs to overcome.
Soundwise it is more similar to the cyrus than the sugden but thats up to your tastes if you like it or not.

Thanks Sean, i used to have Audiolab 8000A. I find the sound not as refine for my liking.

If you can get him to make you one try a Rose RV23S preamp, they really are brilliant. I have sent a few e.mails but never had a reply.
