Connect DJ Console to HiFi

Hey

i'm a little bit of a n00b to this, i want to connect my dj console to someones HiFi, i don;t know what hifi they have but for this i'm presuming will be on all HiFi's.

Do i just need to buy those cables with red and white connectors?

Those cables should do the trick but there's no guarantee that the other persons hifi will have the right input available.
