Trouble with 640C V2 cd player?

I purchased this CD player on recommendation from a friend and have been very impressed with it. With the 640A V2 amp, B & W 602 speakers i have enjoyed it very much. However i have returned the CD player twice now with different faults (one power, one disk detection). I'm sure i must be just unlucky but i wonder if anyone else has had any trouble with this particular piece. If so drop me a line as i am fretful that i will have to return it for the thir time in 6 weeks.

Took mine back because it was crackling on one side, replaced immediately and have had no problems since, excellent player.
