The Project phono box is pretty good, accurate equalisation, low noise floor, good overload margins and a reasonable price.

Thank you for yours answers.
I would like to know what you think about Goldring PA1 Phono Amplifier.
I found a good price to this model on eBay.
The problem is about the MM / MC, I don't understand this matter.

MM is moving magnet,MC is moving coil, which tend to be more exspensive.I can't comment on the Goldring, but I think a SH Creek OBH8se about 60GBP will match well.

unfortunately you can't get the OBH8 online as it's an old model, you can get the latest, but it's more exspensive. There should be a few UK online dealers who sell the Creek or graham slee etc.

I assume that you are talking about the OBH-15 or OBH-18.
Yes, they are a bit more expansive than the OBH-8.
They cost between £ 150 - £ 200, to those prices do you think that still a good option? or I must consider other models like musical fidelity v3?

Very much depends on what your budegt is,as well as what type of cartridge etc you intend to partner it with.

For instance, there would be little sense in combining something like a Whest or Sutherland phono stage with a cartridge costing much uner the £800 mark, and the reverse also holds true.

In the lower price ranges, there are phono preamps from about £50 up(the NAD comes in at that mark) and the choices increase from there up.

If you intend to use a cartridge under the £100 region,I really would see the Creek,Project phono box and similar as being the sensible choices.
If however, you're using something better, then there would be good sense in looking further up the price scale towards the MF XLPSv3,but you do need a fairly decent cartridge to justify the expense of that particular box.

I have two types of cartridge:

ortofon nightclub

shure sc-35

But those cartridge play well to discothèque music. When I bought the turntable I heard discothèque music and now I prefer music like dire straits, pink Floyd, doors.
I could considerer upgrade the cartridge too.

Ok...both are well suited to the use you have for them, but neither are really in the hifi class, and if you were to consider upgrading these, you could look at cartridges from Goldring and also Shure, plus some of the budget moving coils from Sumiko,Ortofon and Denon, which will give a far better account of themselves for music than your current cartridges, and enable you to get the best out of a phono preamp.

It all really comes down to cost, but you could easily put together an entry level phono preamp/cartridge system for under £200,and get very decent results.

Both the Ortofon and Shure you have are high output moving magnet cartridges, designed to cope with DJ work and would easily be bettered by hifi cartridges of even similar price, but do bear in mind that they would be nowhere near as robust, and wouldnt cope with Dj use.

Yes...but you would need to consider a phono stage of equivalent quality also....if it was my money...I would look to spend not more than £200 all in,given the TT and arm,as anything more expensive would probably not be justified, without an arm upgrade(if possible).
