Origin Live upgraded Rega arm

Does anyone own one of the above. I am embarking upon a project to upgrade my Goldring gr1s tonearm (rega rb 200/250 basically I think) I have some silver cable to rewire with and will be using the old cable to makean earth cab le as my amp has an earth for a record player. I also have some (gold level) Ixos analogue cable I will butcher to make the analogue outs.

I have noticed that the origin Live arm is modified with grives/under the arm to eliminate ringing and want to DIY some myself. I have pictures blown up from the site but wonder if anyone with an arm can measure the actual lenth of the groves for me?

After that will come a motor upgrade/dampening and then hopefully cheap analogue nirvana will be mine ( I have already got a Rega super bias cartridge for it).
