New Tangent CDP 50 or used Azur 340c?

Hi All

Looking for a CD player up to £80 for my first hifi system. Already bought Cambridge Audio Azur 540A and Wharfedale DIAMOND 9.4.

Which of these two CD players would you choose?

Brand new TANGENT CDP50 or used Cambrige Audio Azur 340c (3 years old in good condition)

Anyone can help me choose? Both cd players cost £60. Is it worth to buy used azur 340c or better new tangent on warranty. I am normal user. I do not have good hearing .

Can't say about the Azur but I own the Tangent and it's excellent for the price - good solid build and great sound. It's regarded as a bit of a hidden bargain. Although Richer Sounds are selling it for £59 I believe it used to retail for much more than that, around the £200 mark.

I have tangent gear in secondary systems. It's nice looking gear, solidly built, and good sound quality for the money. I don't think you'll go far wrong at that price.
