Amp to pair with mordaunt mezzo 6

I am currently re-building my system and am looking for any suggestions about a good amp to connect to my mezzo 6 speakers. Also in the system is a cambridge audio dvd 99.
I am thinking of a marantz pm6003.

Also the dvd/cd player has a usb to play music off my hard drive and display info on the TV, am I right in thinking the connections are:

DVD to TV - HDMI cable
DVD to AMP - phono jacks

Depends on the budget really. How much are you aiming to spend?

I've got mine paired with a Cambridge Audio 840A Version 2 , being fed by a cambridge audio 340C cd player that is working through a CambridgeAudio DACmagic. And its pretty darn sweet sounding to me!

But i'm sure there are plenty of options out there.
