Help Please!! marantz amp

i have been offered a marantz pm35 mk2 special edition amp for what seems a very good price, but i know nothing about this amp and i'm struggling to find info on the web, apparently it has been upgraded to an MC phono stage from the MM phono stage that comes standard. i dont know if this makes much difference.

but any info you guys could give me would be great please.
