Marantz PM4200 for Mission 733

Hi there, bit of an amateur question, but would a Marantz PM4200 amp at 30 watts per channel, be powerful enough for Mission 733 which output at 20-100 watts. What power amp should I be aiming to get?

If not, could anyone recommend any other budget 2nd hand amps similar to Cambridge A5?Cheers

I used to own this amp until I upgraded a few years ago. I used it to drive a pair of Tannoy Mx2 Speakers and the sound was powerful and gutsy. IMHO unless you have a very large room or want to blast the neighbours you should be just fine. As I recall it was rated at 30 watts into 8Ohms/40 watts into 4. It is a well made sturdy amp.

Hope this helps.

Cheers
